Through iterative design processes and simulations, we investigate how snow, wind, precipitation, and temperature—often perceived as obstacles in everyday urban life—can instead become productive forces in shaping our built environment. By combining computational analysis with virtual simulations and physical testing at a 1:1 scale, design development and scientific inquiry proceed in parallel.
Designing for resilience in times of climate change and increasingly extreme weather systems can also generate transferable technologies and strategies for other parts of the world.
